Armando Lira woke up at 5am on his last day as a prisoner at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex in Topeka, Kan. and combed his hair in the mirror in his small cell that he called home after his 2006 conviction for aggravated robbery. After serving his time, Lira was released to return to Kansas City, Kan.
