A female white-cheeked gibbon walked over the glass roof crossing from one habitat to another as the public saw the unveiling of the new Tropics indoor rainforest on Friday morning at the Kansas City Zoo, housed in the original 1909 Zoo building. 13 species of animals are housed in the exhibit, five of which are new to the zoo.
