Jack Carson of Overland Park, one of four remaining Kansas City area military survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, wore his survivors honor proudly at a ceremony Monday afternoon in Mission, Kansas. Jess Dunnagan, Ed Russell, Jack Carson and Dorwin Lamkin were recognized for their service at the Sylvester Powell Community Center on the 68th anniversary of the attack in Hawaii.
